Congratulations to entry number 20, Diane, for being chosen as our Sitbetter New Year, New Chair Contest winner! We hope that your friend enjoys her new chair! Thanks to all for participating and keep coming back for more new and exciting contests coming soon!

1. Linda: My chair has the back broken and it becomes a pain to try to work any length of time. A new chair would improve my outlook and my posture!

2. Danielle: A new office chair would help me accompish my new year's resolution of making my body pain free. Last year i was diagnosed with having a bulging disc pinching my psiatic nerve and just sitting upright would hurt and make my back stiff. A new chair would help me be comfortable and i believe a little more pain free.

3. Erin: My Dad lost his job back in September. A total shocker to our family since he's been working hard for 14 years! It has hurt the family but especially our poor family room chair where the desk and computer are located. You know those old late 80's zig-zag designs they used to put on fabric? Well picture that padding on a tiny hard folding chair. Why we never updated beats me. But my Dad's resolution is to become employed this year 2010, a new office chair would lift out spirits greatly!

4. Shelly: I'm sitting in a crumpled heap in my current computer chair, the word frumpy comes to mind, it might as well be a beanbag.. this chair has removed any mojo I have left in this world. I'm unimportant, I blend in with the rest, there's nothing official about me... this chair is like cryptonite. But wait.. the new chair..it's infusing the very life essense that I've been lacking for so long.. my back is straight.. my thoughts have sudden clarity and purpose, there is nothing that I cannot accomplish. My smile reappears and my spirits soar! Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

5. Susan: Last year, I got laid off from my job in radio management after 17 years. I also had spinal fusion surgery last year and have not been able to find an affordable, comfortable chair that I can use to really get my work from home business off the ground. I do very intricate beading (which requires hours and hours of sitting) and would love to be able to make more beaded items and work on my developing my website (which is vital to being able to sell my items), but my home chair fights with my spine, making this impossible. I can only sit in my current chair (which I got in a yard sale- so you can imagine how bad it is!) I also make beaded items for non-profits that do animal rescue, and have to really struggle to do this on a regular basis. Here is a picture of some of my bead work- I would love to be able do more, but without a decent chair, my dream goes unfulfilled!

6. Susan: I could chill out and relax while sitting at the right position. This would help me feel better while I am working.

7. Bryan: I work from home and sit in my computer chair for an average of 15 hours a day. My current chair is hard on my body and makes me sore all day. Sometimes allowing me not to sleep so well. So this beautiful new chair that you are giving away would help me not only work and focus better, but sleep better as well! I would feel better which would allow me to exercise more thus greatly improving my ability to do a great job and help people!

8. Jill: I have a real neck & back problem - several accidents have caused chronic pain. A great chair would really improve my posture, therefore, lessen my pain.

9. Brooke: Sadly, in the past couple of years I have gotten fatter than I would like. I owe this to poor posture and too much time spent on a computer. Now that I am in my second year of college facing a career that requires my spending several hours a day at a computer in my home, I need a chair that both supports my New Year's resolution to treat myself better and get a better posture to get rid of my weak abs, belly fat, and back pain.

10. Barbara: My new year's resolution involves a goal I've set for myself. Other years I've done the usual resolutions, lose weight, get organized and exercise more. Unfortunately, I start great and end up...well, not so great. Anyway, this year I've made a different resolution. I've decided I'm going to enter sweepstakes until I win something. So, if I win this chair I will have finally kept a resolution. I would be so proud and I would have a wonderful new chair to enjoy.

11. Hazel: My new year's resolution is to stay more organized and become a better person. I just completed my LPN and am now working on my Social Work degree. Most of my classes thus far are online and my office chair bit the dust last semester. With as many hours as I will spend online doing classes, I need to have a chair that will support my back and keep me motivated toward my studies!! Oh please, oh please... I need this chair!!

12. Scott: I need a new chair for my wife who has just started taking online courses for medical transcription.

13. Jean: A new office chair would help me with a resolution to get out of this squeaky, hard armed chair that I spend hours in each day.

14. Marilyn: A new office chair would give me incentive to turn on my computer in the morning and get to work. I will have no excuses, as a backache or need of coffee to get me out of my old uncomfortable chair. The thought of a new comfortable mesh leather chair is already getting me all intense about working in my home office in 2010!

15. Jovan: Well according to the Wii Fit, my balance is terrible. So one of my resolutions is to have better balance. Having a chair like this would improve my core which in turn improves my balance.

16. Robyn: My resolution is to have better posture! Since I am currently sitting on a bar stool this chair will definately help!

17. Sharon: I work at home so I am in my chair 12 hours a day and with bills as high as they are I can not afford a new chair so when mine got worn I just duck taped it and kept on sitting.

18. Kristie: One of my New Years resolutions is to keep my office more organized and my personal filing up to date on a weekly basis. A new chair would greatly help me to accomplish this by making sitting at my desk more comfortable and relaxing while I do my work.

19. Deb: My New Year's resolution is to start a blog that I hope will create some income for my family. I have physical problems and sitting for any length of time is difficult. My old office chair is broken down and uncomfortable. Help me!

20. Diane: I think this chair would be the perfect way to accomplish my new year's resolution of helping those in need! My co-worker, Pat, has been through a lot the last couple years with her husband losing his leg in a farming accident and her boss being absent from work for several months on medical leave. Pat complains of back pain often, which is most likely caused by a combination of her old office chair and loads of stress. She wouldn't think of burdening her boss by asking for a new chair though. In the candid photo I uploaded of her, you can see how badly Pat needs this chair. Her husband is due to have another surgery in a few days, and I would love for her to come back to work and find a comfortable new chair behind her desk! Thank you so much, Diane.

21. Tim: As a disabled individual, the "job" that takes up my day is entering online contests and sweepstakes. My resolution is to enter more contests and sweepstakes (winning would be even better!). A new ride at my desk would make it more comfortable and enjoyable to do my "job".

22. Bonnie: My new years resolution.. well, I have two. One is to do well in my classes, most of which require lots of time in front of the comp. Seocond is to win a lot of stuff this year, again, lots of computer time due to online contests such as these. :D Being in a comfy chair while doing these things would be a real plus.

23. Analise: With jobs hard to find I decided to start my own business and my resolution is to work hard and make my business a success. I deperately need a good office chair to support me in all the hours I will spend sitting in it in order to work!

24. Lynda: I am going to be 61 in February 2010. My doctor told me it is good for my back to sit with good posture. I sit at my computer much of my day in a chair bought at Salvation Army and I think I could do much better with a new one. My New Years resolution...sit up straight! (I'm sorry for not having a camera or video camera)

25. Monique: A new office chair would aid in my productivity in the office. It would help me accomplish the goals of working longer hours without getting sore, help improve my posture, and of course aid in the numerous chair spins I will be doing with my new office chair. I HOPE I WIN!

26. Charlotte: I have a terribly uncomfortable chair! Can you tell from the picture how awful this chair is? I would love a new chair because one of my New Year's resolution's is to have less back ache's and I can accomplish this if I have a new, comfortable chair. Thank you for considering replacing my ugly, old chair with that new, sweet one!

27. Tim: My New Years Resolution is to stop slouching so much. I have a laptop, so rather than sitting at my desk, I sit on the couch. Very bad for my lower back. I need to start sitting better to get rid of my pain.

28. Barbara S.: I believe sitting properly helps when you sit at an desk all day. I really could use a new chair since the one I have doesn't give me much support at all. As I have vowed to lose weight this year, it is very important to be comfortable. That way I can do my work without getting bored (and heading for that evil vending machine.)

29. Florence: Well, my new years resolution is to spend more time getting to know God, my Father more personally. I have a desk chair right now that sinks quickly. When I am home my desk chair is my escape. That is where I do my reading. I am raising my gradsons (14 & 19)so when I need time away, that's where it's at. My desk chair is also a counselor chair. When the boy's need to talk, that's where we get our privacy. Now how can they look up to me for guidance, when my chair is sinking or has sunk below them. I need a chair I can enjoy spending time in and give good advice from.

30. Web: I like this chair very much and I want to win it.

31. Susan: I have a new exercise program and I think my back would feel better sitting in a new chair.

32. Mike: First off Happy New Year to all. I have been working on writing a book/ screen play for the last 2 years. Every time I should go into my office to write I always opt to do something else. I have a very old low back chair, and it hurts to sit there and write. My resolution this year is to finish my book, and with a new chair I think I will be one step closer.

33. Bill: Our home office is somewhat disorganized and just a conglomerate of pieces of furniture. We are looking to simplify everything and find a chair that will go with a simple table. The chair we have has duck tape on one of the legs. I think this would help us clean and organize our home office.

34. Debbie: My New Year's Resolution is like everyone else, "To Lose Weight". My problem is to lose weight I have to excercise. Only to excercise you need to feel good. By the end of the day sitting on the chair I have now my butt, back and neck hurt. The seat has no cushion in it and there is a bolt poking up in it, the back won't stay tight so it keeps slipping back and it does not support my back. I find with no back support I slouch and then my neck hurts. I believe a new chair would ultimately help me lose weight

35. Debra: I enter contests and my New Year's Resolution is not quit until I win a big one to help pay off our bills and my chair is not that comfortable which I usually sit in for 8 - 12 hours a day to do this.

36. Dee: Better posture!

37. Jill: Every night I sit hunched over my computer trying to "relax" By the time I head to bed my back and shoulders are so tense I find it hard to sleep. A new office chair would help me to relax and be able to sleep better, wake with more energy & therefore be a happier more productive person!

38. Dave: My resolution is to continue to regain a normal life without complaint or regret. Well, maybe one small issue, and I only feel this way because it is on my mind each and every day, all day. That issue? MY CHAIR SUCKS!! About 2 years ago I broke my neck and back in a commercial crab fishing accident. That didn't stop me, but it did alter the course of my life. I'm managing my recovery through severe determination and drive (and gallons of sweat and tears). Although I am walking again, I can no longer fish on the ocean. Instead I decided to challenge myself mentally and train myself in the world of I.T. I've come a long way in a short time and now I find myself sitting at computers almost the entire time I'm awake. A tough road but well worth the trip. Then I saw your press release (my eyes widened in amazement). The C20 is perfection. Painless support, comfort, style (no more sweaty back). I can dream, can't I? Maybe someday. But for now? Gotta get back to work. Wish me luck, Thank you. Oh, and that chair? It, literally, would change my life.

39. Annie: I have a computer and a desk but no chair. My new years resolution is to get more used to the internet.

40. Kay: I have osteo arthritis in my spine. I am a self-employed artist/writer and need to be able to sit for long periods of time in an ergonomic position without my back cramping.

41. Colette: Certainly would help my back to hurt less.

42. Barbara W.: Lets see . My office chair is creaking and moaning, it has 4 pillows on it just to be comfy- My resolution is to get organized. I could stay in the office and do just that with a new chair.

43. Theresa: Hey ya'll must have been thinking about me. For the last few months we've been remodeling our home office. A new chair is on our list. The one we have is worn out and for some reason every time I sit in it, it turns to the left. We got the chair second hand and always in the back of my mind is the thought this chair might have belonged to a great author. My thoughts go kind of like this "the author was typing away on the scene where the killed came up behind the girl and puts hishands around her neck. It's at this point the author feels some one touch him on the shoulder and he turns to the left. Later that night the author is found dead in his chair with it turned to the left."

44. Marvin: A new chair will help my back feel better giving me more energy to exercise and so I will lose weight making me feel better about myself and everything in the world will be right.

45. Catherine: I shift, I twist, I turn in a wooden kitchen chair at my art studio table. I'm not completely ungrateful as this table and chairs were left here when I bought my home last year and I needed furniture but after a few hours of working it gets uncomfortable. I am a full time artist spending much time in this one spot. There's always that moment that you lean back and think about your work, or swing around to grab supplies. My hard cold chair will not comply. :)

46. Angela: I use my computer not only for my business but also to talk to my husband in Iraq. I attend an online college and have 2 children. The chair I have now I purchased 1) because it was pink and 2) it was on sale for $20. BIG MISTAKE. Never again will I subtract comfort for price. My back has never hurt so bad and my screen is much higher than my chair will go. When we are able to web cam, i have to stand the whole time because if i sit the chair only lets him see my forehead. Overall LAME. Please pick me! Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

47. Stacie: My New Years resolution is to be in a better mood, free of discomfort. When I gave birth to my children, I herniated a disc in my back. The spinal surgeon told me all you pregnant woman think you can deliver a baby and sit on a couch and moan, groan, and complain. For many years after, I have dealt with the pain. Watching two people that meant the world to me, my mom and my best friend, suffer through cancer and pass away within the last month, I have decided 2010 needs to be the year of health and happiness. Life is too short. This chair can be the medicine I need to heal my back and keep the smile on my face.

48. Susan: An appropriate chair is a serious need for me. I have been searching for the proper seating for years. I have ended up getting old chairs from the 1940's and 50's because they have "springs" that move with you, problem is they have no lumbar support and the arms are not adjustable, no ergonomics. (You can see them on Law and Order LOL). I have a seriously bad back with foraminal stenois, a broke tail bone, arthritis, advance degeneratives disc disease, fibromyalgia to name a few (and I am just a kid). I have pressure (bed) sores on my legs and budinski and pain in the legs from some of these chairs. I have driven 100 miles in search of the "chair" but found nothing that didn't cause me more pain. I am so desparate I have no joy in my life, just a "pain in the a_ _! I cry often from the never ending pain and the frustration of not being able to work and even enjoy my computer or even read a book. I end up in the recliner a few times aday to relieve the pain. I am unable to work due to these multiple problems, so my income is very l-o-w. I do contesting to help out with some of my needs. how the odds are not on my side. I cannot even afford a chair but keep on looking because I do "believe in miracles" The photo is of the only chair I have found that I can sit in for 1 hour before I am in agony, I got a lumbar support from the Dollar Tree, it is better than nothing but not great as you can imagine.I have put pads on the arms and a heating pad for my elbow since the arm rest is the wrong height. Go figure. Thanks for reading I believe your contest/website is providential. I have googled chairs but had not come across your site aren't you glad you have a contest going? RE: the pics the brown is my main chair which I will gladly toss if I get a replacement. The orange is a task chair I use to eat, maximum I can sit in it is 20 min than blood curdling pain and I cannot walk when I get up, the dump is waiting on that one. I just tossed another this week it is the one that started all my bed sores 2 years ago due to many broken springs.

49. Cheryl L.: I would be able to get my work done and have enough time to absorb my surroundings, be grateful, and time to meditate. Then I could do my sit and be fit exercises. You wouldn't find me any where else. I'd do all my correspondence from one location. It's a super chair.

50. Chuck:A new chair would help me feel better by relieving some, maybe even all of my back pain. If I felt better I'd have a better attitude, I'd get back to exercising and with a fit and pain free body my mind would be clear and I would be ready to sit in front of this screen and behind this keyboard and pound (guess you don't pound on these plastic keyboards) out my first novel. And lets just say it's good, it sells and I have a new career, one that I actually like, maybe my novel/novels even make the world a better place. Well then that would be worth giving me the chair for, right? So, here's the deal, I win the chair and I will do everything within my power to get paid novel/novels written and wrote and I will kick a little butt in the process thank you very much say amen!

51. Leslie L.: A new office chair would help me accomplish my work faster and i could be a better , happier worker!

52. Margaret: I am a apartment manager and I spend alot of time in my office doing paperwork, leases, applications, bills you name it and I would really love a new office chair, my news years resolution was to get healthy and start working out and watching what I eat so believe me after working out at night a new chair at the office would make my day!

53. Lu Ann: One of my resolutions is to be a happier person. If I won a new chair it would make me so happy! My chair is old and broke. It desperately needs to be replaced. My family teases me about my chair calling it a carnival ride. When you get up, it goes up and when you sit down it goes down. If you lean to the right very far, you better hold on! Nobody will sit in my chair. I'm the only one that knows how to handle this ride... errr chair.

54. Nicholas: Well I am losing weight and it will help me sit correctly and I am recovering from a full knee replacement, so a new comfortable chair will help.

55. Natalie: A new chair would help me achieve my get healthy resolution. Part of my resolution was to get more sleep. You can't sleep well if you're in pain, and a new chair would help me avoid the back aches that my old chair causes! It would help end each work day healthier and happier.

56. Kenneth: Try to recover my neck strength and dexterity after having cervical disk replacement and three vertrabrae fusion.

57. Jeffrey: I could nap easier at work.

58. Amy: My new year's resolution is to not get hurt again this year. A new office chair would prevent me from being dumped into the floor when the wheels on my old one lock up!

59. Joe G.: It will help relieve my back pain.

60. Katherine: Do my homework better.

61. Jayne: it would help me pay my bills better.

62. Shirley: My desk chair and I came together back in 1998 a few weeks after my first computer and I got acquainted. We have been through a lot together, even spent 3 years in Scotland together and while it is a friend of long standing one of my new year resolutions is to make new friends getting a new chair would certainly address that resolution. Truth be told I don't really feel sentimental about my chair but you wanted a story and there it is. It is all true except the friend part as it is now giving me a backache.

63. Barbara W.: Lets see . My office chair is creaking and moaning, it has 4 pillows on it just to be comfy- My resolution is to get organized. I could stay in the office and do just that with a new chair.

64. Sharon: This is mostly about the chair that wasn't there. When I was a young clerk at a large company I had my own desk and chair. One day I returned to my desk and sat down. Way down because the chair wasn't there. How embarassing can that be? When I looked around there was no one laughing themselves silly so I know it went unseen. Surely if I had had a Sitbetter chair it would have talked to me and said "hey girl you're gonna miss me" You reckon?

65. Ehrhardt: It would be so much more comfortable that my current office chair!!

66. Dianna: Right now I sit in a card table folding chair when i'm on my laptop & my neck is always hurting because i have Fibromyalgia. And i need the right posture. Which a new office chair would be heavenly!!!

67. Jennifer: Actually, it's not for me. My dad had major back surgery this year. He's a CPA and sits all day. He definitely needs a new chair, especially now that it's tax season!

68. Glanda: Resolution? Well, I sort of said I would spend more time writing and less time procrastinating. The $19.00 office chair I have certainly does not inspire me to be creative. In fact it makes me wriggle around, adjust my posture( like sure I have posture in this rag tag thing)and finally say it ain't worth the pain. You can't write funny stuff if you are suffering. That is unless you are writing funny stuff about suffering. Hmm I could do that but it would have to be a really short story cause my back hurts and my feet don't touch the floor.

69. David: It would enhance the appearance of my apartment.

70. Patricia: I have alot of back pain and the chair that I have now is ready for the dump. The padding is well pretty much non-existent. Raising and lowering the chair is a joke now. It just loves to lower itself all by itself so that makes typing tough when you need a higher seat. The above pretty much speaks for itself in how a new office chair would help me with my new year's resolution to keep up with family by letter or email. I also want to keep and maintain better records of the Orchard we are putting in. I need a new chair.

71. Linda: A new office chair would help my back. Lifting those grandkids can be grueling but very, very rewarding.
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

72. Terri: My New year's resolution for work is to be more conscientious of deadlines. If I had a more comfortable chair at work then I would be much more able to sit at my desk for long periods of time and will be able to get my stuff done in time!

73. Morgan: If I had a new chair for 2010 I would be more inclined to do online college so I can give my daughter Sophia, the life she deserves.

74. Lucinda: Oh my, A new office chair right now would be amazing. Ive been sitting at a solid HARD wood chair for more than 10 hours a day sometimes trying to get my work finished by the end of the day my back is going into muscle spasams. I would love to recieve a new chair for my new year.
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

75. Loretta: Help my back feel better.

76. Jannette: Sirs I think I deserve this chair because I'm in a wheelchair and I can hop into that good looking chair and stay on the computer all day and that will help me fullfill my resolution to start online classes.
Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

77. Wendy: This New Year I am taking some computer classes and the chair I am currently sitting on has screws coming through it. I would love to be Sitting Better all year!

78. Karen M.: I need to be able to improve my posture. I've sat in these chairs at various companies and found them to help immensely.

79. Rose: I fully intend to attempt freelancing this year, in hopes of creating a satisfying career that allows me to work yet still remain home with my toddler. This chair would offer a respectable, professional place to settle in and get to work on meeting my difficult, yet fully attainable resolution.

80. Debbie C.: My New Year's resolution was to clean out and organize my tiny little computer room. Right now it makes me look like a candidate for that show "Hoarders" ! So far, I have procrastinated, no surprise. I have promised myself a new, comfortable office chair if I ever follow through with the resolution. If I won... I wouldn't allow myself to unpack it until I cleaned up the room. That new chair tantalizing me might just kick me into gear!

81. Paul: We will be opening a new office in a few weeks (resolution #1). Working at a desk while standing is far from productive. A new office chair would help me with my second resolution of growing my business and hiring 4 new employees by the end of this year by giving me comfortable place to sit to work long days. Without a new chair I'll have nowhere to sit!

82. Robin: I unfortunately will be out of a job on Friday, January 15, 2010 and will be looking at starting something out of my house from my computer. I am looking at spending numerous hours in my uncomfortable office chair searching and trying to find the right job for my capabilities. A new chair would certainly make this sad turn of events into a much more comfortable endeavor.

83. Janet: Well right now I sit on a very little, & uncomfortable chair. So winning this new chair would just be great!
