In describing this chair, I will remain rather... reserved in my comments and just say:
Wow!
There are chairs and then there is the freedom chair from Humanscale. It's simply a top of the line ergonomic chair, which, when most sit in it, they love (I have to say most, because it's a chair and I've seen first-hand that chairs are chairs...). It's not inexpensive, but every other feature on this chair certainly makes up for that!
Were can I start other than the ergonomics are wonderful, its sit is firm and very relaxing, the arms are interesting and very different and its non-abrasive fabric really feels good. A fun, cool, chic chair with it's unique sleek and modern styling, it's just plain enjoyable to look at (no comments about the dentist's chair, there's just no comparison!). The innovative mechanism glides (the back tension depends upon the body weight, not a spring), it's adaptable instantly from person to person and it's effortless to lean back and stay in one position. Finally, and no less important, the sound construction and adjustability mean you'll enjoy this chair for years, without even mentioning the awards this chair has won....
